Privacy Breach – Claims Examples

The topic of privacy and security breach has received heightened attention within the last couple of years with the annoucement of several high profile breaches making headlines.  Most companies have a difficult time relating to these incidents as they have a “that will not happen to our company” attitude.  We are not Sony Corporation, Facebook or Google and wouldn’t be a target of a data breach.  In order to outline the importance of this topic and to build awareness for our clients and potential clients we will be posting a series of blogs with various claims examples from small to mid-size Canadian companies.
