Peter has been involved in the insurance industry since 1974, and founded Mitchell Sandham with partner J. Norman Sandham in July 1995. Peter's focus and strength is in both personal and business insurance. Peter’s passion and personal experience in boating helped him become a Canadian expert in Marine and Yacht Insurance.

With a solid 20 year insurance career track record, Aaron joins the Mitchell Sandham team as an experienced insurance executive having held senior positions in executive management and sales leadership, in addition to his expansive background in business insurance, he also has experience in both underwriting and risk management working for some of the largest insurance companies in Canada.
Ryan Mitchell, CAIB, CPIB
Chief Operating Officer
Ryan is a registered insurance broker who holds the Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) and Canadian Professional Insurance Broker (CPIB) designations. Ryan specializes in business and personal insurance products. Ryan holds his Bachelor of Arts with a Business Administration Option from Wilfrid Laurier University
Michael Daou

As a proud Canadian, Michael truly believes in helping and supporting Canadian business owners. Through his time in the insurance industry, Michael has attained an exceptional ability to analyze a business owner’s specific risk and his vast knowledge of each insurer’s differing wordings, insures his clients are well-protected. Michael specializes in construction, bonding, fleet, manufacturing, franchise programs and realty insurance.
Trevor Waldron
Partner & Vice President, Business Insurance
Trevor is an Insurance Program Graduate from Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario and began his career as a Commercial Lines Underwriter at RSA Canada. After gaining comprehensive knowledge at RSA Canada, Trevor then joined CNA Canada to focus on US and International risk. Trevor joins the Mitchell Sandham team with over 20 years’ experience and is a specialist in placing insurance for medium-large complex manufacturing accounts globally, construction and contracting risks, US workers compensation and risk management advice.

Chris McFarland

Chris has been in the Insurance Industry for over 20 years, specializing in Employee Benefits and has gained extensive knowledge in the Benefits Consulting field. His passion is people and finding solutions for employers and their employees. Chris is a people person and is highly motivated by working closely with his clients. Chris’ extensive knowledge of the Employee Benefits field, combined with strong client relationships, communication, and caring have resulted in a high level of consulting expertise and has gained him the respect of the underwriting community.
Cristina Ramirez

Cristina is a Business Graduate from Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario and holds several industry designations CSC, LLQP and RPA. Cristina has over 20 years of experience in group retirement services and has worked for some of Canada’s largest insurance and financial companies. With her exceptional knowledge in retirement products, Cristina assists companies in designing and managing comprehensive retirement programs.
